LEAP is The Dance Well Centre’s leadership programme for dancers aged 11 - 15.
Through assisting in weekly classes, termly workshops, and guided reflection, students learn how to support others, grow in confidence, and become calm, capable leaders in the studio.
Whether they’re just starting out or stepping into more responsibility, LEAP gives young dancers the tools to lead with kindness, clarity, and purpose.
Who can join?
A small annual fee applies to each level of the LEAP Programme. This contribution helps cover resources and workshop materials — but more importantly, it encourages students to commit fully to the responsibilities of their role. The cost is intentionally kept low to reflect the fact that LEAP students generously give their time and energy to support the studio. It’s a way of balancing commitment with recognition.

- Opportunities available across three levels — including a fast-track option for older student
- Weekly class assisting
- One leadership workshop per term

- Level 1: Junior Assistant for ages 11+ Full Course Cost: $60
- Level 1 & 2 Combined Track for ages 13+ Full Course Cost: $80
